Seminar “Pre-registration of scientific protocols using animals”

During the seminar, Ilya Sukhanov, MD, Head of the Behavioral Pharmacology Laboratory at the A.V. Waldman Institute of Pharmacology, Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, shared his practical experience with the preregistration process on various online platforms. Julia Menon, Director of preclinicaltrials.eu, PROSPERO Administrator, and Editor of the Systematic Reviews Section in the journal “Laboratory Animals,” described the preregistration process for developers.
The following topics were discussed during the webinar:
– the importance of the preregistration process for researchers;
– protocol confidentiality;
– the work evaluation process and how much easier it is to publish a study after preregistration;
and other questions related to preregistration.
The seminar was held in English.
