Law regulating work with laboratory animals in the Russian Federation

On October 1, 2024, the first working meeting dedicated to discussing regulatory frameworks for animal research was held at the Translational Medicine Laboratory of the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University. Colleagues from various scientific institutions exchanged views on the conceptual framework of the proposed document and possible levels of regulation. Participants agreed on the need to develop regulations for animal research at various levels and outlined next steps.
